Machine Learning Engineer, Part-Time AI Model Development - Remote (United States)

Use your machine learning engineering skills to help evaluate and improve practical AI systems. AI training work needs people who can develop models, test results, and explain technical findings clearly. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.

What you'll do

• Design and refine machine learning models with Python and tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

• Work with large datasets and MongoDB for model data management and validation

• Test models, tune hyperparameters, and compare performance using clear evaluation measures

• Build preprocessing and data workflows for training and inference, then document experiments and recommendations

Who this is for

• Strong Python ability and familiarity with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

• Hands-on MongoDB experience for data manipulation, storage, and retrieval in machine learning projects

• Understanding of model evaluation metrics, feature engineering, and data preprocessing

• Strong problem-solving, written documentation, communication, and collaboration skills

• Experience deploying or operationalizing models in cloud or enterprise environments, or connecting data pipelines to production-oriented training and inference workflows is helpful

• No experience in AI training work needed.

Pay and details

• $80–$140 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
